Completion of proceedings for the arrangement with creditors

On May 25, 2010 the District Court for the capital of Warsaw in Warsaw, X Commercial Department for Bankruptcy and Reorganization, decided to acknowledge as completed the proceedings for the arrangement of ENERGOMONTAŻ-PÓŁNOC SA, with the seat in Warsaw, opened by virtue of the decision of the District Court for the capital of Warsaw, XVII Commercial Department dated August 11, 2003.

On June 18, 2010, the District Court for the capital of Warsaw in Warsaw granted the enforcement formula to this verdict.

Half of construction cycle of the flue gas desulphurization plant (FGD III) for 500 MW pwer unit No.10 in Elektrownia "Kozienice" S.A. ("Kozienice" Power Station Joint Stock Company)

Energomontaż-Północ SA in consortium with the Japanese concern Hitachi has been constructing the next Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant (FGD III) for 500 MW Power Unit No 10 with the date of start in the year 2011.

Construction of the third Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant (FGD III) in Elektrownia “Kozienice” S.A. has already passed the halfway mark. Work progress is amounting to 60 percent.

Modernization and investment works carried out in Elektrownia “Kozienice” S.A. are intended to improve efficiency of electric power generation, as well as to adjust the parameters of pollution emission to the standards of European Union in the range of environment protection. The main target of the construction of the Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant (FGD III) is to reach the lower values of SO2 emission.

Scheduled time limit of completion of the FGD III is December of the year 2010.
